Laila, a 9-year-old German Shepherd, spent over 8 years trapped on a terrace - neglected, wounded, and utterly alone. By the time she was rescued, her body was covered in open, maggot-infested wounds and her spirit was broken.
Today, she is safe at our shelter, but her healing journey requires urgent medical care, proper nutrition, and love. With your support, Laila can finally experience the life of dignity and compassion she has always deserved.

Pawsitive Sanctuary is a safe haven for sick, injured, and paralyzed animals. Since 2019, we’ve provided medical care and shelter to Amritsar’s most vulnerable street dogs. With over 1,500 dogs already neutered, our mission is to create a safer, healthier city — one dog at a time.

Brought up in Canada, Amita Seth had taken a trip to her hometown in India in 2019 where she became extremely inspired.
